Position Summary

 

Consistently and efficiently manufacture high quality product per procedures in compliance to ISO 9001 standards.

 

Responsibilities

 

Customer Satisfaction 

Consistently make decisions demonstrating regard for our customer. 

Communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external customers and/or suppliers. 

Sheeter Operator 

Set up, operate and maintain sheeter to cut paperboard. 

Set up, operate and maintain machine to power cut-board. 

Assist with roll movement. 

Ream cut jobs as they appear on the schedule.

Unband and palletize sheeted stock from out side venders. 

Perform any combination of duties to assist the warehouse department:  lifting and physical inventories. 

Calculate and analyze information to improve production process including quality and timeliness. 

Housekeeping. 

Good attendance.






Essential Job Functions

 

Ability to prioritize tasks, be self directed and fast learner. 

Ability to read and understand the scheduling board. 

Collect, input and retrieve data from the computer. 

Records manufacturing activities and data accurately and completely. 

Initiates involvement in creative solutions and implements improvements to team quality processes.

Adheres to and promotes compliance to ISO9001, safety, quality standards and company procedures and immediately reports any nonconformance to supervision. 

Learn and follow all safety rules. 

Ability to work in a high stress environment to meet customer delivery dates. 

Willingness to work overtime on all seven-week days and assist in all manufacturing related functions, as required by supervision.
